Why is it that men and women are so different?  We speak the same language, we have the same opportunities, and we both have the same ultimate pursuit of happiness.  So why is it, then, that men and women can be as different from each other as an elephant and a mouse?  Why are there so many comic acts and books written about the differences between the two sexes?  Yes, it can be physiologically explained that women tend to think with different parts of their brains than men, but why does something as small as a neurological charge lead to one of the most talked about topics in the world?  And my biggest question is: why does most people’s definitions of happiness include finding true love with someone of the opposite sex, yet it is that pursuit which tends to bring us the most pain?

                I think the answer is simple: lack of understanding and compromise.  Men tend to be more logical and women tend to be more emotional.  There is no “right” way to solve any problem, but rather multiple options that neither sex is willing to compromise on.  The man will want it solved unemotionally and with the best logical outcome whilst the woman will want it solved in an effort to make everyone happy.  Neither of them are wrong and both of them will lead to a suitable solution.  But that suitable solution doesn’t always make the other sex happy.  So why the hell can’t we just compromise!!!  Why can’t men and women talk with one another to have a solution that is both logical and emotional?  To be honest, I don’t know the answer to that question.  Because if I did, then I would be the richest man in the world and probably be considered Godly for eliminating one of the most dominant causes of personal pain. 

The purpose of this blog was to explore new thoughts.  I know my writing may not be clear, and probably seems redundant and potentially retarded.  But this is something that has bothered me for years, and it’s something that I personally wanted to pose to others to see what you feel about this ever-apparent problem.  If anyone has the answer to my question about why men and women can’t compromise…PLEASE TELL ME!! Because I will surely give you my life’s earnings to understand (and then steal the answer, write a book about it, and become rich!!! YAY).
