Advertisements surround us everywhere we go. There is probably not going to be one day where you are not going to find some form of an advertisement in your daily life. Companies advertise their products through many mediums such as: radio, magazines, billboards, the Internet, newspapers, and most popularly, movies & television.
Media advertising is very popular and include billboards, tv ads, movies, radio, magazines, newspapers, posters, taxi doors, bus stop benches, the sides of buses, those annoying internet pop ups and flyers that are posted everywhere. For example, TAG deodorant advertisements. A lot of people already mentioned this but it is a very noticed ad. It is showing that you don’t have to be good looking to get all the girls. All you have to do is spray this deodorant and all the girls will coming running after you.
TV commercials are the biggest advertising format around the world. A major example is the Super Bowl, which is known greatly for its tv advertisements that sponsors spent a lot of money to get on tv because of the idea that everyone will be sitting in front of the tv watching the game.
Another very popular form of advertising is when a brand or a product is put into the entertainment business or media. Like for example, in the James Bonds movies they always have to show off the latest Aston Martins, BMW’s and watches. In the movie Transporter they were showing off the Audi and Lamborghini. Making it seem like if you want to be like them, then you should get these cars.
Here are some interesting ads that I found:

here is a subway that is advertising for iPod. We see these types of ads everywhere such as on subways, metros, bus benches, the sides of buses, and cars.

this is a horror movie advertisement for a movie in singapore. on the right is the actual theatrical adveritsement and on the left is an ad for the movie in a restroom which is interesting in the way that “it will make you want to pee in your pants”.

i really thought this advertisement was interesting. This is an advertisement on the bus near the airport for any traveler riding the bus so they can put their hand in the strap and see if they like how the watch looks on their hand. Then if they like how the watch looks then they can go and buy it before reaching their final destination.

this advertisement is in New York City. An advertisement of a cup of Folger’s coffee was placed on top of a manhole in the street of New York giving the illusion of an actual cup of coffee due to the steam coming out of the holes in the advertisement. The advertisement says “Hey, City that never sleeps, wake up.” That is pretty much saying “Hey city of new york since you are known for being out late everyday the only way that you will be able to do that is to drink Folgers coffee.”

this advertisement i found very funny. Life size stickers of people were stuck on to sliding doors at a mall in India. This was made in way so that when someone comes to the store and walks through the sliding doors the people move away from them and right when you walk in you see a sign that says “People move away when you have bad odor.” So if you don’t want people to move away from you and think that you smell bad then you should buy the deodorant called Rexona.
Advertisements are everywhere and i think it will stay that way and become an even bigger part of our life later on in the future.

I’m really glad you took the opportunity to utilize the ability to post photos. I’m actually surprise more people didn’t do this. Nice job.
Your right, wherever we look there is an ad for some random product. Kinda hard to see a future where that doesn’t happen, huh?

Were ever you look you see an ad that tells you to eathier buy or BUY. However, i really like that ad of coffee in Newy York, that gives a real illosion of a real coffee mug. Great job!

I find ads to be very annoying, but it takes the sting away when I see really clever or intelligent ads. Hopefully we can get more of these clever ads around here so I can stop crying during commercial breaks.

those ads you found were really clever, i think it takes a lot to be able to come up with something like that. the subway one with the watches shows how they put ads everywhere you cant even stand on the subway without seeing something. i think ads are just going to get more ridiculous farther into the future and they will find new ways to put advertisements in our face.
