Tylenol is made with love even though “love “is not listed in the ingredients. Every time you wake up in the morning whether you know it or not advertisement is all around you, it’s like the oxygen around you. In some cases as a person you are advertising for someone whether you know it or not. It sounds like where ever you go you are being a target of some kind of product, item, object, etc… In the morning, turning on the Television, the number one mass advertisement communication in the world you are being targeted for some kind of skin care lotion. The concept of airing a skin care product is to get you to know that if you want to be beautiful and look like the models on the commercial you must buy the product, otherwise you’re not beautiful. Driving a from point A to point B you can come across many advertisement, coming from logos, bumper stickers, banners, etc… You can be driving on the same road everyday and passing by a Wendy’s or Dairy Queen never buying something from them, but when you here a commercial on the radio over and over again about a new item and that it is delicious, followed by a Television commercial were you can see the item, you decided to find out yourself. Now, it that moment the advertiser’s mission is accomplished. Some people do not know that they are also being used to advertise some company’s products like book bags, shoes, T-shirts, pants, glasses, socks, perfumes, cologne, flash drives, etc… Other people look it these products and like to own them for themselves. Everyone these days is targeted no matter whether you are adults, teenagers, kids. Kids these days have more advertisement on toward them then they ever did before. Many thing contribute to that, such as Television shows, cartoon shows, etc… On that note I would like leave you with these very interesting video on kid’s advertisement. Kids in this video nag their parents to buy products, going places, etc… and parents record these events to inform the Nag Factor research group and then compare the nagging of the kids and the purchase made.

It’s sad that some ads only use a certain type of person, but it is true. – Raven English
I really like your comment about advertising being like the oxygen around us. It really sums up that advertising is everywhere around us all the time.

i agree. i think that when you keep seeing a commercial about something it will start influencing you. You will want to go and buy that product and find out if it really is like that product that you saw on TV. Also i think it is true how kids want to buy the stuff they see on T.V.

Nice post, Jamal. It would be helpful if you could add to the point you were trying to make about Tylenol in the opening sentence. However, something I want to talk about in class is name brand clothing and I’m glad you brought up that point.
Love, cant be made it has to be earned, haveing said that i really agree with you post saying that advertisements are all over. See! when you think you inspire.
